Head Mechanic

Head Mechanic The Town of Holliston is seeking applicants for the full-time Union position of Head Mechanic with the DPW. The Head Mechanic is responsible for the repair, maintenance, registration, and safety inspection of department vehicles and equipment. The Head Mechanic will also operate and maintain snow and ice control equipment. The successful candidate will possess a Class B Massachusetts Driver's License (CDL) with Airbrake, and a Class C Hoisting License with restrictions no less than 2B, 4E, and 4G. 2A is preferred. ASE certification is preferred. This is a full-time benefit-eligible position. The position is Grade L5 and the starting range is $32.05 - $34.77 per hour and the full range is $32.05- $40.39 per hour.
