The Opportunity:
Are you a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician looking for a long-term career opportunity with a stable and thriving company? C L Diesel is seeking an experienced professional to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on a variety of diesel engines, vehicles, and heavy equipment (e.g., trucks, trailers, construction equipment, agricultural machinery). Execute preventative maintenance, general repairs, and complex mechanical overhauls. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle components. Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools to identify and resolve issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct pre-delivery inspections and safety checks. Complete work orders, service reports, and other documentation accurately and completely. Collaborate effectively with team members, parts department, and service advisors. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of progressive experience as a Diesel Technician, ideally in a [e.g., heavy truck, construction, or agricultural] setting. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine systems, including modern electronic controls. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, air brakes, and drivetrains. Experience with various diagnostic software and tools. Valid driver's license with a clean abstract. CDL is a Plus Owns basic hand tools; specialized tools provided by the shop. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Why Join CL Diesel?
