Job Description

Tiger Dumpsters is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to keep our trucks on the road. We run a growing fleet of hook-lift dumpster trucks serving Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. This job is based out of our North Reading, MA yard and Boxborough, MA garage .
NO NIGHTS. NO ON-CALL.
What You'll Be Doing Routine maintenance and repairs on hook-lift trucks (oil changes, brakes, hydraulics, PMs) Diagnosing and fixing issues drivers run into during the day Light welding, patching, and repairs on dumpsters and containers Keeping basic service records, parts inventory, and maintenance schedules Helping drivers with mechanical questions and keeping the shop running smoothly What We're Looking For Solid experience working on diesel trucks (hook-lift experience is a big plus) Basic welding and fabrication skills Someone reliable who stays ahead of problems instead of waiting for breakdowns Comfortable working independently and talking directly with drivers and dispatch What We Offer up to $40/hour 20-40 hours/week — flexible schedule (evenings, mornings, weekends -- whatever works for your schedule!)
