Diesel Technician - Whitman, MA (Serving South Shore School Districts) First Student is now hiring a Diesel Technician for our shop serving Whitman, Abington, Duxbury Academy, Norwell, Weymouth, Holbrook & Rockland!

Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM |

Full-Time Pay:

Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and safety inspections Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems Complete work orders and maintenance documentation Support road calls and emergency repairs as needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of diesel, fleet, or automotive mechanic experience Experience with diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance Valid driver's license required CDL Class B (or willingness to obtain - company paid) Own mechanic tools Willingness to obtain ASE certifications (training + pay increases provided) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop environment Additional Information This is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug testing DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana Apply Today Join a company that offers stability, strong pay, and long-term career growth -all while making a real impact in your community.
