Job Description

Summary:
Assist and cooperate with the Fleet Maintenance to maintain and repair units assigned to the fleet. Monday through Friday, with Saturday work possible and as needed. The ideal candidate should possess their own tools and have at least 3 years of Diesel Mechanic experience. Starting pay will be commensurate with experience and determined at the interview. If you have a CDL, Key Tasks and Responsibilities Certified Diesel Mechanic Full time Salary Mon-Fri, some Saturdays if needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team environment, provide outstanding service, and follow workplace cleanliness, organization, and process standards, you'll perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels. If you have a desire to succeed, enthusiasm and willingness to learn this is the job for you. This will be Monday through Friday, with Saturday work possible and as needed. The ideal candidate should possess their own tools and have a minimum of 3 years of Diesel Mechanic experience. Starting pay will be commensurate with experience and determined at the interview. If you have a CDL, that is a plus! Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, pump repairs, body repair, and replacing parts and components Services machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulic systems, mobile and stationary equipment Use computers to issue parts and update comments on work orders/task lists including diagnostic programs for engines and hydraulic systems, OEM, and brake systems Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs Effectively communicates with co-workers in a positive manner Conduct DOT annual inspections Ensure that all equipment is functional before mobilization Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
