Position Overview Fleetpro is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse equipment while developing your skills alongside an experienced, supportive team. Your work will play a critical role in keeping our customers' fleets safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. What You'll Do Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using diagnostic software, schematics, and testing equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines and heavy equipment. Repair brakes, air brake systems, steering, suspension, HVAC systems, driveline, and powertrain components. Service trucks, trailers, forklifts, excavators, cranes, farm equipment, and other heavy-duty machinery. Perform welding and fabrication as needed. Complete accurate repair documentation and inspection reports. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate professionally with customers and teammates to deliver exceptional service. Why Fleetpro? Preferred Qualifications Experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician in a fleet or dealership environment. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, suspension, drivetrain, and brake systems. Experience using diagnostic software and repair schematics. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
