Diesel Technician We are looking for a talented

• Diesel Technician / Mechanic
• to join our Distribution business in
• Glen Burnie, MD.
• $5000.00 Sign on Bonus!
• You will make an impact in the following ways: + Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles + Ad to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools
• In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
• + Completes complex internal engine repairs + Performs engine overhauls unassisted + Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components + Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

• Base salary rate commensurate with experience. • Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred), Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution, locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

• Experience:

• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Have experience with internal engine parts Be able to complete a basic in frame Comprehend aftertreatment systems
• This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
• A current valid license is required for this role
• This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
• This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• 3 years driving experience
• This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
• Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
• A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
