Job Description

Kenworth in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Transmission Technician specializing in Ford Commercial trucks. Bring your mechanical expertise, strong work ethic, and attention to detail to a growing team where you can make an immediate impact. Compensation & Schedule $35-$55/hour (based on experience) Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates Full-time with advancement opportunities
Schedule:
Monday-Friday between 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Every 4th or 5th
Saturday:
6:00-11:00 a.m. or 9a.m. - 2p.m Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and supplemental insurance (eligible the 1st of the month after 30 days) 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off & company-paid holidays Tuition reimbursement program Employee referral bonus program Comprehensive paid training to achieve certifications Career growth opportunities — we promote from within Responsibilities Diagnose transmission failures on Ford F-250 Super Duty through Ford F-750 commercial vehicles Perform removal and replacement (R&R) of transmissions Conduct transmission repairs, rebuilds, and component replacements Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electronic issues Inspect related systems (driveline, torque converters, cooling systems) to ensure proper operation Complete work orders accurately and maintain service documentation Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines Maintain detailed records of repairs performed (work orders, parts used) Communicate with OEM/factory technical assistance as needed Stay current on industry trends and technical advancements Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Prior diesel technician experience (Ford preferred) Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and excellent attention to detail Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Physical Demands Regularly required to talk, listen, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arm Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs frequently; occasionally more than 50 lbs Work Authorization All Roads Trucks does not provide H-1B sponsorship.
