Job Description

Viking is seeking an experienced versatile mechanic to join our maintenance team.
Basic Function:
To perform maintenance and repair on company vehicles, forklifts and other machinery
Responsibilities:
Build and assemble vehicle components according to requirements Inspect Vehicles, engines, transmissions, etc. and run diagnostic tests discover functionality issues Conduct repairs Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner Perform through maintenance on vehicles, trucks, forklifts and other machinery Clean and apply lubricants Replenish fluids and components of engines and vehicles Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc) Keep logs of work and report on issues

Proven experience as Mechanic Excellent knowledge of Vehicles Basic Reading Skills Lifting up to 100 pounds

Position Reports to: Owner Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm 45hrs
