Job Description Job Description Diesel Mechanic Brighton, MI $35•45/hr | Monday-Friday Days | Full Benefits If you're a diesel mechanic who can actually diagnose problems instead of just replacing parts, this is the kind of shop you're looking for. We're hiring an experienced Diesel Technician to join a busy, well-equipped operation in Brighton, MI. You'll work on a fleet of diesel trucks powered by Cummins, PACCAR, Detroit, and similar engines, handling everything from diagnostics and electrical repairs to emissions systems and preventative maintenance. This is a stable Monday-Friday position with steady hours, competitive pay, and excellent benefits. Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 AM•2:30 PM No rotating shifts
Pay Experienced Diesel Mechanics:
$35•45/hr PM /
Preventative Maintenance Technicians:
$25•35/hr Pay based on experience and skill level What You'll Do Diagnose and repair diesel engines and truck systems Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting Repair and maintain DPF, DEF, SCR, and aftertreatment systems Service brakes, suspension, steering, tires, hydraulics, pneumatics, and A/C systems Complete preventative maintenance inspections and services Use OEM diagnostic software and scan tools Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation What We're Looking For 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Experience working with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT, PACCAR, or similar engines Ability to work independently and efficiently Own basic hand tools Valid driver's license CDL is a plus but not required Benefits Competitive hourly pay Company-paid uniforms Blue Cross Blue Shield medical coverage Vision and prescription coverage No annual medical deductibles Dental insurance 401(k) with company match Stable, year-round work Why Join This Team?
