This position requires a technician with strong electrical and emissions systems knowledge who can accurately diagnose complex mechanical failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Utilize OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, and technical resources to identify root cause failures and complete accurate repairs Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential equipment concerns before failure occurs Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain issues Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and maintenance standards Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines, electronic controls, and emissions systems Accurately document diagnostics, completed repairs, labor, and parts usage Support shop operations by assisting and mentoring junior technicians as needed Service and repair aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, and SCR components Required Qualifications Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a diesel technician Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting systems, and scan tools Must provide own basic hand tools Experience diagnosing and repairing aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, and SCR Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting background Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain Experience working with diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT, PACCAR, or equivalent Experience performing repairs on engines, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and related heavy-duty systems
