Full-Time Preferred Part-Time Considered Immediate Opening Join a Growing Team That Relies on Heavy Equipment Lou's Cutting Edge Tree Service is seeking a dependable, experienced mechanic who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. This is not a dealership position where you're stuck working on the same thing every day. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of trucks, trailers, and specialized tree service equipment. If you're someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, working independently, welding, fabricating, and keeping a fleet operating at its best, we'd like to meet you.Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on: Ford diesel trucks Dump trucks Bucket trucks Excavators Mini skids Chainsaws and small engines Chippers Trailers- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues
- Repair trailer brakes, wiring, lighting systems, and bearings
- Welding and fabrication projects
- Maintain maintenance records and inspection logs
- Keep shop organized and equipment service-ready
