Schaendorf Custom Farming is seeking a dependable Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural and support equipment to keep our operations running efficiently. We are a well established agricultural company serving the dairy industry in Michigan and Indiana. We take pride in our clean, late-model equipment and our long-term, experienced workforce. Pay:

Based on experience. Starting at $24 per hour Equipment includes (but is not limited to): Skid steers Loaders Telehandlers Tractors Feed mixers Gators and farm utility vehicles What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Takes pride in clean, well-maintained equipment Has a strong mechanical background Works well independently and with a team Maintains a positive attitude and strong work ethic Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Perform welding and fabrication as needed Work closely with the shop foreman and equipment manager to keep equipment operational Follow all safety procedures and best practices Requirements At least 1 year of experience working on agricultural or heavy equipment Must have own tools Reliable transportation required Additional Information If you're passionate about agriculture and looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable, respected operation, we'd like to hear from you.
