  • on-the-job skill development in a supportive environment What You'll Do As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll handle everything from preventive maintenance services to complex diagnostics and repairs on a wide variety of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment.
Perform PM services and general repairs on trucks and equipment Diagnose and repair DEF, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems Interpret vehicle computer/electronic systems to troubleshoot failure codes Estimate time, materials, and requisition new parts as needed Respond to emergency service calls and breakdowns Conduct annual safety checks and inspections Keep a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant shop environment Complete documentation through fleet maintenance software Mentor less-experienced team members (for lead mechanics)
What We're Looking For Experience:
1+ year of relevant diesel mechanic experience Strong diagnostic ability (especially with DEF systems) a big plus Team players willing to learn
  • from shop hands to seasoned lead mechanics Ability to work independently with limited supervision Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
