Key responsibilities include setting up and operating test equipment, documenting and analyzing data, performing basic maintenance on equipment, and collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot issues. Operate basic lab equipment such as parts washer, power washer, truck hoist, trailer jack, in-ground scales Work safely in compliance with Meritor safety guidelines. Maintain orderly work area in accordance with Meritor standards. Job Requirements Associate Degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent is required. Automotive / Truck
/ Trailer mechanical experience is required Skills Proficient with personal computers, Microsoft Excel/Word. Mechanical ability. Understanding of measurement techniques (torque wrenches, dial indicators). Able to communicate effectively with customers. Other Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and participate in off-shift rotations. Willingness to learn new skills To possess or willing to obtain a CDL. To possess or willing to obtain necessary hand tools to perform the at hand tasks (Standard and Metric sockets and wrenches up to 1"/24MM, rachets, pliers, prybars, allen wrenches, screw drivers, etc.). Physical Requirements Ability to lift 40 lbs and push/pull 150 lbs. Stand for long periods of time.
