Pay Range:
$30
  • $40/hour (based on skills/experience). Schedule is 1st Shift, 7:30am
  • 4:30/5:00pm.
Trillium Staffing is hiring on behalf of a leading manufacturer in the heavy equipment and utility vehicle industry. This organization produces specialized equipment used across sectors such as utilities, telecommunications, infrastructure, and fleet services. We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join a growing/dyanmic team! This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines, heavy equipment, and related vehicles to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a small team to complete high-quality repairs and maintenance. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Document maintenance and repair work
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • 3+ years of diesel technician experience (not entry-level)
  • Strong experience with diesel engines, including valve and cylinder work
  • Welding experience (experience accepted in lieu of certification(s))
  • Ability to use heavy hand and power tools effectively/efficiently
  • Experience with diagnostic and testing equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working/thriving in a small team environment
  • Ability to work independently when needed
  • Comfortable in a manufacturing/shop environment (heat, cold, noise, etc.)
