Ideal candidates have tractor-trailer repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance experience. Apply today for competitive pay, stable fleet work, and a steady Monday-Friday day shift. Duties & Responsibilities Perform minor and major repairs on semi-trucks, trailers, and related fleet equipment. Complete preventive maintenance to keep tractors and trailers safe, reliable, and road-ready. Run diagnostic tests, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs in line with factory and industry standards. Maintain accurate repair records for completed maintenance and repair work. Support parts inventory, shop cleanliness, and safe daily repair operations. Lead maintenance workflow and work closely with team members to keep the department running efficiently.
Requirements Required:
Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining semi-trucks, trailers, or similar heavy-duty fleet equipment. Diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with diesel trucks and trailer systems. Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, inspections, and industry repair standards. Ability to complete accurate repair documentation and maintain organized work records. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in a shop environment. Dependable work habits, safe repair practices, and ability to support an efficient maintenance department.
Preferred:
ASE or Michigan mechanic certifications are highly preferred. CDL Class A license preferred. #SJ1
Compensation:
$40.00 - $60.00/hour based on experience and qualifications
