We're looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a reliable, supportive team. What You'll Do Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on school buses Complete preventive maintenance inspections to keep our fleet safe and road-ready Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems Ensure all repairs meet DOT and safety standards Work independently while staying connected with the team 💰 What You'll Get $25-$37/hour based on experience $5,000 sign-on bonus Consistent Monday-Friday schedule (no nights!) Six paid holidays Two weeks PTO after one year Medical, dental, vision & life insurance 401(k) with 4% company match Yearly pay increases Employee Assistance Program + more What You Bring Experience working on medium-duty diesel vehicles or buses Ability to work independently and stay organized Strong commitment to safety and quality work Valid driver's license CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain) ⭐ Bonus Points Experience with Ford, GM, or fleet vehicles ASE certifications Previous school bus or transit fleet experience ASE Certification Bonus Program Beacon Mobility offers a paid ASE Certification Program with quarterly bonuses. Earn $35-$100 per quarter per certification, with total potential earnings up to $7,820 per year. We cover ASE test and registration fees after test-prep completion. Bonuses are paid automatically and included in regular paychecks. Additional $1,000 Blue Seal bonus available at qualifying locations.
