Diesel Trucks & Construction Equipment Location:

Moorhead, MN Northwest Excavating is seeking a mid-level to experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of diesel trucks, trailers, and construction equipment. This position is ideal for a self-motivated technician who can work independently in both shop and field environments. Responsibilities Perform daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy construction equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Identify repair needs and communicate findings with management Order and manage parts, tools, and repair supplies as needed Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and repair logs Travel to local job sites for field repairs when required Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Requirements Experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or truck technician Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision CDL preferred but not required Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Compensation & Benefits $30 - $40 per hour depending on experience Full-time position Health insurance available Company-paid life insurance Voluntary life insurance options Dental, accident, and cancer insurance plans available Self-directed retirement plan with company contributions How to Apply Submit your application through HireClick or apply directly through this job posting.
