Ideal candidates have diesel diagnostics and preventative maintenance experience. Apply today to join a dependable team and earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Duties & Responsibilities Perform minor and major repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and applicable fleet vehicles to factory and industry standards. Complete preventative maintenance services, including inspections, tire rotations, oil changes, and general upkeep to support safe, reliable operation. Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and work with the repair team to identify issues, plan repairs, and maintain equipment performance. Inspect fleet vehicles to support DOT compliance, including brake maintenance and required safety checks. Maintain accurate repair, maintenance, and daily reporting records, including mechanical maintenance reports and service documentation. Monitor equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock levels and communicating needs. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow company, DOT, and OSHA safety requirements.
Requirements Required:
3 years of heavy-duty fleet maintenance experience Familiarity with air brake systems, hydraulic systems, engines, suspension, preventative maintenance, HVAC electrical, and CNG systems Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials, including equipment and repair manuals Experience using Microsoft applications and diagnostic software Strong attention to detail Prompt, professional, and dependable work approach Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
Preferred:
Welding and body fabrication experience #FJ1
Compensation:
$30.00 - $45.00/hour starting pay based on experience and qualifications $5,000 sign-on bonus Weekly pay $1,000 quarterly tool allowance for your first 3 years
