Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Not entry level motivated Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our commitment to excellence in service and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for equipment and a desire to work on diverse machinery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, brakes, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and fluid checks to keep equipment running smoothly. Fabricate and modify parts or components as needed using power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools to meet specific repair requirements. Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair procedures. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on semi trucks and industrial equipment, HVAC systems, and other heavy-duty vehicles with precision automotive diagnostics skills. Ensure compliance with safety standards such as air brake systems and proper lifting techniques while performing repairs or inspections. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs accurately for future reference. Requirements Must have own tools. Proven experience working as a Diesel Service Technician or similar role within a dealership or heavy equipment environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools including soldering irons, power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic scanners. Ability to read schematics effectively to troubleshoot complex issues across various machinery types such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including forklift handling for tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various environmental conditions throughout the day. Pay:
$30.00 - $60.00 per hour
