This is a great opportunity for the right person, with at least two years of diesel truck repair experience preferred.
Major job duties include:
Servicing trucks and completing inspections per DOT requirements Performing preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, inspection of components, etc. General maintenance on electrical, HVAC, brakes, and accessory systems Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and other defects Assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies (such as power and drive trains, fuel, emission, hydraulics, etc.) Repairing and/or replacing worn or damaged parts/components such as clutches, injectors, engine parts, cooling systems, refrigeration units, etc. Maintaining vehicle records by documenting services and repairs Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
High school Diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of diesel engine operation Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computer systems Attention to detail Good communication skills for interaction with customers Enjoy competitive pay and great work environment.
