Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our teams a shop tech as well as performing mobile repair services. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of our fleet of commercial trucks and heavy machinery. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and other vehicle components Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and equipment inspections Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues Fabricate parts or modifications as needed for specialized equipment or repairs Repair and maintain industrial equipment and tractor-trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed Assist in the assembly and installation of new equipment or components as required Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry regulations Requirements Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic with dealership or industrial repair background preferred Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and engine repair Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems Experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and use of hand tools and power tools required Familiarity with Commercial Truck operation. Mechanical knowledge of air brake systems, alignment procedures, shocks & struts replacement, HVAC systems, suspension components, and tire service Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients regarding repairs or maintenance issues Ability to move and operate commercial vehicles in order to pull them in and out of shop or operate trailers for diagnosing.
