Salary:

Up to $45 per hour depending on experience . Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays or overtime may be required. Bauer Equity Partners, LLC. is a conglomerate of companies performing work in industries including environmental restoration and green infrastructure, cell phone tower services, stormwater management and implementing erosion control measures, residential construction, and electrical work. We are looking for a dedicated, on-site mechanic to help perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of gas and diesel fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, small engines, and boats. A successful candidate will be able to follow all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards, write detailed inspection reports and be able to clearly communicate diagnostic findings and repair plans. Test drives/use of equipment are required to be conducted and included in the report. Candidates will be able to work in a safety- oriented manner including the use of hand and power tools on machines and heavy equipment, and conduct routine inspection and repairs including oil, tire changes, and brakes. The ideal employee will be able to complete jobs in a punctual and timely manner and will take incentive in duties regarding jobs, shop cleanliness, yard organization, and workflow. May work in variable weather conditions. You must be capable of lifting/carrying 50 lbs. Short periodic travel may be required. This position is full or part time. (Part-time schedule and hours TBD on a per employee basis)

IDEAL APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

2-year degree or certificate from automotive/diesel/ related field, school, or institution. Ideal applicants will have 1-2 years working experience in the field/related field. ASE certification preferred. Not required to possess your own tools but preferred/recommended. Pre-employment "fit" testing is utilized to verify physical fitness and drug free status.

WAGES AND COMPENSATION

Full-time employment awarded following a 90-day probationary period. After 90 days, employees receive company paid benefits including fully paid health insurance with options for dental/vision covered by employee, 401K with company match @ 4%, paid vacation (5 days), paid holidays (6 days), maternity/paternity leave. We offer flexible scheduling to ensure the right candidates maintain a high quality of life. Bauer Equity Partners, LLC. pays expenses including lodging and food, provides transportation for work requiring travel. Typical hours are 40+/- per week during the year round (May-Oct) with time and a half overtime pay after 40 hours.
