Job Description

Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Our client is seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and values a team-oriented, customer-first environment. This individual enjoys hands-on problem solving, thrives in a structured shop setting, and is motivated by consistent work and strong earning potential. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to getting the job done right the first time. This role is on-site in Sikeston, Missouri. Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company standards. Perform accurate troubleshooting to identify root causes and complete repairs efficiently. Ensure all work is completed correctly and addresses the original customer concern. Adhere to shop processes, including proper time tracking and documentation of work performed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including care of customer vehicles. Communicate additional repair needs or safety concerns to leadership as identified. Meet or exceed productivity and efficiency benchmarks in a flat-rate or performance-based environment. Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a heavy-duty truck or dealership environment. Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills on diesel engines and related systems. Certifications such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, or ASE (Heavy Duty) are strongly preferred. Experience working in a flat-rate or commission-based shop environment is preferred. CDL is preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties consistently. Must supply basic tools required to perform the role. High school diploma or equivalent required.
