Mobile Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic Pine Belt Fleet Services - Hattiesburg, MS Pine Belt Fleet Services is hiring an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This position is primarily a mobile diesel mechanic and field service technician role performing on-site truck and trailer repair at customer locations, fleet yards, and roadside breakdowns, with occasional shop duties as needed. We are a small but growing diesel repair company focused on quality work, professionalism, customer service, and building a strong long-term team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing Class 1-8 trucks and trailers including Freightliner, Kenworth, International, Volvo, Hino, Ford, Dodge, and GMC diesel and gas vehicles. Diesel Technician Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers Perform mobile truck repair and roadside service calls Troubleshoot electrical, brake, suspension, steering, hydraulic, air, and drivetrain systems Perform diesel engine diagnostics and repairs Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs Complete repair orders and diagnostic documentation accurately Maintain a clean and organized service truck and work area Build and maintain positive customer relationships Follow OSHA and company safety procedures Requirements Minimum 5 years diesel mechanic or heavy-duty truck repair experience Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with mobile mechanic or field service work preferred Ability to read electrical schematics Valid driver's license with clean driving record CDL or ability to obtain CDL preferred Must own tools Self-motivated and able to work independently Must pass background check and drug screen No DUI history Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Paid holidays Paid time off 401(k) beginning July 2026 Continuing education and training opportunities Modern diagnostic software and equipment Opportunity to grow with a small expanding company Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Some after-hours or emergency calls may occasionally be required

Experience Diesel Technician:

5 years preferred Heavy truck repair: 5 years preferred Pay Based on experience

Pay:

$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
