You will diagnose, service, and repair Class 8 heavy-duty trucks. This role requires proficient electrical troubleshooting and standard engine diagnostics. Key Responsibilities You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and computer systems using Peterbilt Electronic Service Analyst (ESA). Your daily tasks include repairing PACCAR and Cummins diesel engines to factory specifications at Jackson Group Peterbilt. You will fix emissions systems, aftertreatment components, air brakes, and drivetrains. Technicians must perform routine Federal DOT inspections and complete preventative maintenance documentation. You are expected to maintain a clean bay and follow all company safety regulations strictly. Required Qualifications Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of professional heavy-duty diesel repair experience. You need ownership of a complete set of professional mechanics hand tools. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) is highly preferred. Possession of ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications is a strong plus. You must have working proficiency with PACCAR Davie4 and Cummins Insite diagnostic software. The role requires the physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
