Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections and testing of diesel engines and components
• Repair or replace faulty parts, such as fuel injectors, pistons, or gaskets
• Perform brake repairs and adjustments
• Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and assemble diesel engines
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and vehicles
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Customer service-oriented with good communication skills

Skills:

• Soldering skills for electrical repairs
• Automotive repair experience for diesel vehicles
• Strong customer service skills to interact with clients
• Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and systems
• Brake repair expertise for maintaining safe operation of vehicles
• Proficiency with hand tools for disassembling and assembling engine components
• Familiarity with Caterpillar engines or other specific engine brands
