Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks and commercial vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly by delivering top-quality service on time and exceeding customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, including troubleshooting electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and tire services. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, air brake inspections, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to prevent future issues. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and automotive electrical systems knowledge to complete repairs efficiently. Repair and replace components such as shocks & struts, transmissions, brake systems, and suspension parts to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Assist with equipment repair and assembly tasks related to commercial trucks and other heavy machinery. Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, and ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and offering professional advice on vehicle maintenance. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with heavy-duty diesel trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools. Experience working with transmissions, oil changes, air brake systems, alignment procedures, suspension repairs, HVAC systems, tire service, shocks & struts replacement. Skilled in welding, soldering, equipment repair, plumbing related to vehicle systems, and the use of various hand and power tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and sales support when needed.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
