Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lube & Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet and machinery operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse industrial equipment, farm machinery, and heavy vehicles in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and electrical components using schematics and advanced diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery. Fabricate parts or components as needed using hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and other fabrication techniques to meet repair specifications. Replace or repair shocks & struts, tires, brakes, HVAC systems, and perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintain detailed service records including inspection reports, repair logs, and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving Caterpillar or other heavy equipment brands. Requirements Proven experience working as a dealership or independent service technician specializing in diesel engines and heavy equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and power tools operation. Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex machinery including farm equipment and industrial vehicles. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding, soldering, and assembly of mechanical parts. Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or tractor-trailers is highly preferred. Knowledge of safety protocols related to air brake systems, tire service, suspension work, HVAC systems, and vehicle maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
