Job description:
Must have knowledge to repair forklifts, pallet jacks, and fire fans, auto mobiles, Diesel Trucks. Must have knowledge to repair trucks, rebuild transmissions, rear ends, motors, all facets of the automotive. Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed Must be able to read, write and have a basic knowledge of math with the ability to communicate effectively. Must have and maintain a good attendance work record. Must have the use of hands, legs, and feet as to be able to work on all equipment as needed. Bending, twisting, turning, etc. Must be able to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
Education and Experience Requirements Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
Prior machine operation or food production experience preferred Experience operating bagging or packaging equipment a plus Skills and Competencies Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety and food safety standards Physical Demands and Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions Ability to lift and handle packaging materials as required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Ability to work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant Work Schedule Must be available to work assigned shifts Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production needs Safety and Compliance Commitment The Bagger Operator is expected to maintain a safe work environment and comply with Tyson policies, food safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and plant procedures. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, packaging accuracy, and efficient production operations at the Plant.
