Job Description

Valley Imports is looking for a skilled Diesel Automotive Technician to join our team! As a Diesel Automotive Technician you will diagnose, service, and repair vehicles. As a member of our service team you will play a crucial role in addressing our customers' needs with the utmost respect, care, and attention to detail. The hours are between Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm, 40+ hours a week. Pay
DOE. QUALIFICATIONS
(minimum requirements) Education and/or years' experience required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Associate's degree in mechanical or auto technology field. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. One to two years auto technician experience.
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Good judgment and the ability to use hand power tools to operate other machinery safely required Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Excellent customer service and communication skills Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): No supervisory responsibilities required in this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES
Inspect customer vehicles. Provide repair cost estimates. Maintains CSI at or above company standards. Document services performed. Identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance. Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance. Maintains a professional appearance at all times. Identifies, recommends and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement. Ensures that each and every customer encounter is consistent. Prioritize work to meet demands and customer needs. Perform services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines. Request necessary parts. Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines. Follow Safeguards rules and regulations. Must be able to work with co-workers and maintain a team attitude. Pass and maintain manufacturers required training levels. Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance. Performs Wallwork Inc. wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor. Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrates the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
