Diesel Heavy Mechanic - Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Diesel Heavy Mechanic to support ongoing operations and ensure equipment is maintained safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment in a steady, year-round environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and performance standards Qualifications Proven experience working on diesel engines and/or heavy equipment Ability to read technical manuals and utilize diagnostic tools Valid driver's license (CDL preferred, not required) Additional Details Pay range: $28-$50/hour (depending on experience) Flexible scheduling options Professional, team-oriented work environment
