Join Our Team as a Diesel Technician - Keep Machinery Running Smoothly and Safely!

Gering, NE Pay:
$17-$20 DOE Are you passionate about keeping engines and equipment in top shape? We're seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a wide variety of diesel engines and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure our clients' machinery operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, making a direct impact on their operations and success. What You'll Bring to the
Role:
Proven experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, agricultural equipment, construction machinery, and related vehicles Strong knowledge of engine, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Ability to accurately identify faults and communicate findings clearly to customers Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail Familiarity with safety protocols and a focus on maintaining a safe work environment Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new techniques and technologies Ability to work independently and follow management directives efficiently Nice to
Have:
Certifications such as ASE or other relevant technical credentials Experience with off-site service calls and working in diverse environments Knowledge of computerized diagnostic tools and software Prior experience working in shop settings or with heavy-duty equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in diesel mechanics preferred 2+ years of hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
Other Requirements:
