Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, service, and repair our fleet of commercial trucks, sand/gravel hauling vehicles, and heavy equipment to ensure maximum operational uptime and safety.
Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance:
Execute routine preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy construction machinery.
Diagnose faults:
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brake, steering, and powertrain system failures using modern diagnostic tools.
Weld and fabricate:
Complete structural repairs and component modifications using welding equipment when necessary.
Maintain documentation:
Keep precise, up-to-date service logs, part orders, and inspection records.
Safety compliance:
Adhere strictly to OSHA, MSHA, and company safety protocols to maintain a clean, hazard-free shop environment.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven experience as a diesel technician, heavy equipment mechanic, or a related mechanical trade field.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency working with complex hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and diesel engines.
License:
Valid driver's license required. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred to test-drive fleet trucks.
Age:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Tools:
Possession of personal mechanics' tools required for daily service tasks.
