What You'll Be Trusted With Advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and systems High-level engine and powertrain work involving all makes of Diesel engines and Allison transmissions Troubleshooting aftertreatment, electrical, fuel, cooling, and driveline systems In-frame repairs, major component replacements, and root-cause failure analysis Interpreting OEM diagnostics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service literature Serving as a technical resource for the shop when difficult issues arise Delivering clean, accurate documentation and professional workmanship every time What Sets You Apart 5+ years of senior-level diesel technician experience (master-level strongly preferred) Exceptional diagnostic ability with OEM software and tooling Deep hands-on experience with multiple Diesel engines and Allison Transmission products Ability to work independently and confidently on non-routine failures Strong electrical and aftertreatment troubleshooting capability High standards for quality, efficiency, and accountability Preferred Credentials OEM certifications (Detroit, Allison, Cummins, MTU, Volvo, etc.) Formal diesel training or technical degree CDL or willingness to obtain Why Elite Technicians Choose Interstate Power Systems Premium, experience-based compensation Company-provided uniforms, PPE reimbursement, and tool programs Ongoing OEM training and certification advancement Stable workload with challenging, high-skill repairs Full benefits package, PTO starting day one, and 401(k) with company match A professional environment that values expertise—not shortcuts #CDRXP
