The primary duties of a diesel mechanic include performing diagnostic tests on diesel equipment to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components. This is an entry-level position and we are willing to train the right candidate while offering year round work! Job Responsibilities Running diagnostic tests on equipment Analyzing diagnostic test results Checking equipment lighting systems Test driving equipment to gauge performance Maintaining detailed records of serviced equipment Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist Ensuring the cleanliness of the equipment Job Requirements Degree or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering Valid driver's license Aptitude for mathematics and science Knowledge of diesel engine components Good IT and diagnostic skills Physically fit and able to lift up to 150 pounds Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools Attention to detail Good interpersonal skills Excellent verbal communication skills Good organization skills T-Quip Sales & Rentals is an EOE.
