Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and a passion for maintaining heavy equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing diesel engines and related systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment to prevent breakdowns. Assemble and disassemble engine components as needed for repairs. Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Operate heavy equipment to test repairs and ensure functionality. Maintain detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Collaborate with other mechanics and service technicians to complete complex repairs. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role with a focus on diesel engine repair. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance practices. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy components and work in various conditions as required. A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
