We specialize in in-house repairs for our equipment and other heavy machinery, ensuring reliable service for our clients and fleet. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and more. Your expertise will keep our fleet operating smoothly and safely, supporting our commitment to quality service. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems on heavy equipment and vehicles Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs Fabricate parts or components as needed using power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively Perform heavy lifting and assist with equipment assembly or disassembly during repairs or upgrades Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently Maintain detailed service records and ensure all repairs meet safety standards Requirements Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or service technician with dealership experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery Skilled in fabrication, welding, soldering, and using power tools for repair work Ability to read schematics and perform electrical diagnostics confidently Knowledge of HVAC systems on industrial equipment is a plus Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions Valid certifications related to diesel engine repair, air brake systems, hydraulics, or similar fields are advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values craftsmanship, safety, and reliability.
