We work on everything from medium-duty trucks to Class 8 tractors, including owner-operators, fleet vehicles, and commercial accounts. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic who can diagnose and repair virtually any issue that comes through our shop. This is not an entry-level position. We need a technician who can work independently, solve problems, and take pride in quality workmanship. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks from multiple manufacturers including: Freightliner Volvo International Peterbilt Kenworth Mack Hino Isuzu Ford and Ram commercial diesel trucks Perform complete engine diagnostics and repairs. Engine overhauls and rebuilds. In-frame and out-of-frame engine rebuilds. Cylinder head replacement and repair. Camshaft, crankshaft, and timing repairs. Turbocharger replacement and repairs. Fuel system diagnostics and injector replacement. Transmission and clutch replacement. Differential and driveline repairs. Suspension and steering repairs. Brake system diagnostics and repairs. Cooling system repairs. Electrical diagnostics and wiring repairs. Air system repairs. DPF, DEF, SCR, and emissions diagnostics and repairs. Preventive maintenance services. Road testing vehicles after repairs. Complete repair orders and communicate findings to management.
