Mechanic - Diesel

Transportation company is seeking a Diesel Mechanical Technician responsible for themaintenance of our award-winning fleet. CDL Preferred.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine, scheduled and preventative maintenance inspections and required repairs to company standards Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs including steering, electrical, cooling, brake systems, drive trains, suspension, transmissions, etc. Identify technician strengths/weaknesses to keep repair process efficient Repair/maintain wheelchair lifts to ADA standards Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work area. Ensure work orders are accurate and properly completed.

Job Requirements:

Prior mechanical experience required. Must possess a valid Driver License and willing to obtain CDL. Must have dependable transportation. Must be willing to work early mornings or evening shifts, including weekends. Solid understanding and adherence to safety and environmental standards. Upon hire, the person chosen will need to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications:

Experience in all aspects of Truck, Mini Bus or Motor coach repair. Electronic diagnostic and repair experience in Charter Bus, or Medium/Heavy Duty Truck a plus working knowledge of Air Conditioning & Electrical Systems Computerized record keeping skills. Fluent in English.
