Diesel Mechanic

EXPERIENCED MECHANIC WANTED

Responsibilities:

1) Installation and repair of snow plows and salters 2) Building and maintenance of highway safety trucks, utility trucks, water trucks and hi-rail trucks. Includes truck maintenance, safety equipment repairs such as truck mounted attenuator, arrow board, scissor lift systems etc. 3) Be prompt and ready for work 5) Be willing to work overtime when needed 6) Have your own tools applicable to the job. 7) Be able to fill out a daily work log (i.e. read and write English fluently) 9) Must have valid and good standing driver's license. 9) Welding skills a PLUS 10) Maintain a clean and safe work area. 11) Perform all tasks assigned by supervisor. Candidate should have experience working on medium and heavy duty trucks. Candidate should also be prepared to perform or help with all tasks involved with all tasks involved with repair and maintaince of trucks. Training is available for specialized dust control and safety equipment for those willing to learn new skills. Hourly compensation will be based on skill level.
