Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, where you will be the driving force behind maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, including troubleshooting electrical systems and automotive electrical components. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and air brake inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with industry standards. Repair and replace transmissions, shocks & struts, suspension components, HVAC systems, and other mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools. Execute wheel alignments, brake repairs, wheel assembly, and equipment repairs to maintain vehicle integrity and performance. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely repairs. Assist with welding, soldering, and other fabrication tasks for vehicle assembly or repair projects. Support heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols; collaborate with team members to complete maintenance schedules effectively. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks or commercial vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting electrical issues. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, air brake systems, alignment, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and plumbing related to vehicle systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Additional skills such as auto body repair, soldering, equipment repair, or auto electrical experience are a plus for versatility in the role.
