  • Full-time Academy Bus is seeking a full-time Class C Diesel Mechanic for our Perth Amboy, NJ location. $2500 Sign On Bonus! Pay rate is $23.00

Shift Responsibilities:
Diesel Mechanic
  • Class C / Level 3 Repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of modern tour buses Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance General lubrication functions such as: Oil/filters, air filters, chassis lubrication, transmission fluids/filters, differential fluids, axel/wheels.
Inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components under supervision such as: Brake components, suspension components, tires, and seats. Warranty and repair documentation Assist A and B Level Mechanics with skilled work
Requirements:
1-4 years of hands on experience, diesel engine maintenance preferred Minimum personal tool value $2000 Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks and testing instruments Valid driver's license Basic computer skills Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
