Bus Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Bus Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude to join our team. This role involves working on Volvo and Prevost buses for a year-long contract, where you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex coach systems using OEM software and diagnostic platforms. Responsibilities Remove and replace bus seats or repair existing ones. Troubleshoot complex coach systems using OEM software and diagnostic platforms. Run diagnostic tests to identify issues and perform maintenance on engines, electrical systems, air conditioning, steering, and braking systems. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on buses. Utilize hand tools effectively during maintenance tasks. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience with maintenance repair and preventive maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems. Proficiency in using hand tools. Knowledge of OEM software and diagnostic platforms.
