Job Description
We need a mechanic who can diagnose the problem, fix it right, and move on to the next one. ICM Logistics runs a tractor-trailer fleet in Vineland, NJ. We're looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to keep our equipment on the road. No big shop politics, no corporate nonsense — just steady work, a solid team, and hours that work for you.
WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE
- Routine service and preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel engine issues
- Brake systems — air and hydraulic
- Tires, wheels, axles, and drivetrain
- DOT and state compliance inspections
- On-site and in-shop repairs as needed
- Work orders completed accurately
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years hands-on diesel or heavy equipment experience (required)
- Real diagnostic ability — not just part swapping
- Comfortable with modern diesel systems
- Detail-oriented with solid documentation habits
- Volvo experience is a plus
- CDL-A is a plus but not required
