  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and construction machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for heavy equipment and a commitment to excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and electrical components. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators forklifts, tractors, Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding, soldering, power tools, and hand tools to meet specific repair needs or custom applications. Service and repair powertrain systems including transmissions, differentials, and drive shafts to ensure optimal performance. Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety compliance; perform alignments, brake repairs, tire service, wheel balancing, and suspension adjustments. Operate heavy equipment safely during testing phases post-repair or maintenance to verify proper functioning.

Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership experience preferred; strong background in heavy equipment operation is a plus. Extensive knowledge of diesel engine repair, hydraulic systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, OEM schematics, welding equipment, soldering irons, hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical repair instruments. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience working with various types of machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, farm machinery, and industrial equipment. Excellent customer service skills; capable of communicating clearly with team members and clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs. Physical ability for heavy lifting; comfortable working in diverse environments that require bending, kneeling or working at heights as needed.
