• Position Overview H.A. DeHart & Son, Inc. is seeking motivated and reliable Diesel Technicians of all experience levels to join our growing team. We are hiring for multiple roles including A, B, and C Level Technicians, as well as PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), Campaign/Recall, and Mobile Road Service Technicians.
• Available Positions
• A-Level Technician
• Advanced diagnostics, engine repair, electrical systems
• B-Level Technician
• Intermediate diagnostics, component replacement, troubleshooting
• C-Level Technician
• Entry-level maintenance and basic repairs
• PDI Technician
• New vehicle inspections and setup
• Campaign/Recall Technician
• Manufacturer recall and campaign work
• Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles (school buses and medium-duty trucks)
• Accurately document work performed and parts used
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and company procedures
• Requirements
• Experience levels vary by position (entry-level to 5+ years preferred for A-Level)
• Knowledge of diesel engines (Cummins experience preferred)
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
• Own tools required
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
