Job Description
We are searching for a Diesel Mechanic for our Kirtland (Farmington), New Mexico location. Some experience is preferred, but no special training is required. This position will be responsible for preventative maintenance along with diagnostics and repairs on:
- Transmissions
- Clutches
- Trailers
- Brakes
- Electrical Systems
- Engines Requirements and Skills that will be important for this role are:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License
- Being a team player
- Reading and interpreting diagnostic test results to identify problems and determine the solution.
- Inspecting various parts of vehicles, including transmissions, engines, steering mechanisms, and brake systems, while following checklists to ensure all important parts are examined.
- Replace malfunctioning parts.
- Performing basic maintenance and care, including tire rotations, oil changes and checking fluid levels.
- Test-driving vehicles to ensure everything is working properly.
