At Atomic Transport, we take pride in being a leading local bulk hauling company based in Chattanooga, TN. With a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 drivers, we specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. We operate a fleet of over 600 tractors and 900 trailers, including top-tier models from Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, and Western Star. Our trucks are powered by reliable Cummins X15, MP-8, and DD-13 engines, ensuring performance and efficiency across all operations. With over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, Atomic Transport is rapidly expanding and we're looking for passionate individuals to grow with us. We're currently seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team. What We Offer:
Pay starting at: $27-$30 an hour depending on experience! Weekly pay with time and half for OT! Paid holidays, vacation and orientation.
Job Duties:
Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems. Knowledge of engine diagnostic software. Conduct regular maintenance and service trucks. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Diagnose problems and plan repairs. Perform road-side service calls. Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks. Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles. Must have own basic hand tools. Specialty and larger tools will be provided.

Job Requirements:
Have a valid driver's license. Have consistent employment. Class A CDL preferred not required. Pass a pre-employment drug screen. Pass a pre-employment background check. Must have 2+ years in the heavy duty mechanic field
